What is Wine and Walk Istria?
Istria Wine and Walk or W&W for short is a novel fusion of culinary experiences and an active vacation, the first of its kind in Croatia. It entails an 11-kilometer trek through the picturesque vineyards and olive groves of the Istria region in Croatia. Along this route, participants encounter Istrian winemakers and local producers offering gastronomic food.
Upon registration, you will be given a tasting glass and a trail map, and a shuttle will transport attendees to their starting destination. This marks the starting point for an eno-recreational journey through the vineyards and olive trees of northwestern Istria.
As part of the event, there is a small fair showcasing wines and local products. The event organizers place significant emphasis on responsible waste management and the use of eco-friendly, biodegradable materials (such as cutlery and packaging).
Additionally, they employ environmentally conscious and economically sustainable printing practices, with a focus on reduced reliance on printed materials.
