ISTRIAN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS FAIRS

The project was launched in 2013 as an EU project with the purpose to design a web application for presenting small farms from Istria. When the project was completed, the activities aimed at promotion and direct sales of agricultural products by small farms continued.
The project is implemented by the Istrian Web Market Association in cooperation with the Poreč Institute for Agriculture and Tourism as well as the Region of Istria, Istrian cities, municipalities and local tourist boards. The association includes 60 family farms from Istria that take part in the promotion and direct sales activities on a regular basis.
The aim of the Association is to present the people in Istria as well as tourists with indigenous agricultural products produced and processed in Istria using traditional techniques.
Markets in campsites (from Jun to Sept):
Funtana: Polidor campsite - every Wednesday
Istrian Agricultural Products Fair (from June to Sept.):
Vrsar: Degrassi Square (Old town) - on Saturday
Poreč: Freedom Square - on Thursday
During every Fisherman Festival in Vrsar and Funtana
