OPG SERGOVIĆ

Description

OPG Sergović has organic production of extra virgin olive oil and almonds. They have a total of 2183 olive trees, from 6-year-old to 14-year-old trees. The varieties Buža, Buža puntoža, Biankera – Bjelica, Rožinjol and Žižoller are represented. Of that, Buža and Buža puntoža make up 65 percent of the total olives, and Biancera 17 percent.

By the way, from 1999 to 2015, spouses Nada and Korado Sergović bought neglected agricultural land, mostly overgrown with forest, in order to create a unique larger property.
OPG Sergović Korado was entered in the register on April 21, 2004. years.

The property managed by OPG is located in the vicinity of the city of Rovinj, surrounded mainly by forest and forest vegetation, in areas called: Varava, Marboi, Sanpruti and Polari. In those areas owned, mixed owned and leased from the Republic of Croatia, OPG has a total of about 10 ha.

From 2006, a greater activity in the planting of young olive trees began, and then the first 400 seedlings of Buža were planted, and in the same year, OPG began to purchase, first, second-hand machinery, and later new ones.
