Special ornithological reserve
Significant wetland habitat to an extremely rich and varied ornithological fauna, especially waterbirds – 235 different bird species recorded so far, which accounts for more than half of the Croatian ornitofauna.
Suitable for scientific research; education; bird watching, cycling in protection zones II and III (no access to zone I surrounding the marsh), hiking, taking photos, swimming
Open for visitors, free admission.
Organised visits only for groups by appointment (admission fee according to the institution’s pricelist).
