About 25,000 foreign workers are employed in Istria, mostly in the construction and tourism sectors. The largest number of workers comes from Egypt, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Nepal. On the occasion of celebrating the World Tourism Day, we will organize professional guidance of the House of Istrian Castles especially for these workers, in order to bring them closer to the cultural heritage of Istria and enable them to better understand the region where they work and live.
